Rocco Pelosi

Rocco Pelosi (8 November 1980 - 2 December 2013) was an Italian-American criminal who worked as an Ancelotti crime family soldato and, later, a Hollywood talent agent. He was forced to flee New York City in 2008 after Luis Fernando Lopez killed his uncle Vince Pelosi and threatened to kill him, and he was murdered in Los Angeles after assaulting director Solomon Richards.

Biography[]

Rocco Pelosi was born in Little Italy, Manhattan, New York City on November 8th 1980 to an Italian-American family with origins in Naples. Pelosi was the nephew of Vince Pelosi and a distant relative of Don Giovanni Ancelotti, the boss of the Ancelotti crime family. Pelosi decided to join the Ancelottis as an enforcer, becoming involved in the loansharking business alongside his uncle. During the mid-2000s, he was sworn into the American Mafia as a "made man", and he became the main loan shark for the Ancelotti family, using his uncle as an enforcer. In 2008, Tony Prince fell into Pelosi's debt, and Pelosi frequently bothered him about his money, also forcing his bodyguard Luis Fernando Lopez to do work for the Ancelotti family; this included fighting against the rival Messina crime family and helping with the rescue of Gracie Ancelotti from the Irish Mob. Pelosi was later told by Don Ancelotti that Pelosi, Prince, or Lopez would be killed by him and Russian Mafia boss Ray Bulgarin for the theft of diamonds from the Smithsonian Museum, as the two bosses allied against the troublemakers. Pelosi and his uncle convinced Lopez to kill Prince at the Maisonette 9 club, and they all headed to the club to execute Prince. However, Lopez shot Vince Pelosi in the head, changing his mind; he was forced to spare Rocco because of his "made man" status.

Fearing that Ancelotti would have him killed, Pelosi left town, fleeing to California, where he became a talent agent and a thug. Pelosi became an extortionist, as he encouraged famous actors to demand more money from their studios; this would halt productions, and he would force the studio directors to pay him a bribe to end the agitation. Pelosi became rich, and he planned to open his own club in an abandoned warehouse. However, director Solomon Richards refused to pay him, and he sent Michael De Santa to beat up Pelosi to send a message to him. Pelosi and his friend Gianni headed to Richards' studio to get their revenge, beating the old man up. De Santa showed up, seeing the two thugs assaulting Richards, and he chased after them in his car. He managed to wreck their car before killing the two of them.
