
Robert Mitchell (30 December 1778-13 November 1848) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-OH 12) from 4 March 1833 to 3 March 1835, succeeding John Thomson and preceding Elias Howell. Born in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, he practiced medicine in Zanesville, Ohio and served in the War of 1812, in the state house from 1815 to 1817, and in Congress.
