
Robert Lawrence Dundas (27 July 1780 – 23 November 1844) was the Whig MP for Malton from 1807 to 1812, for East Retford from 1826 to 1827, and for Richmond from 1828 to 1835 and from 1839 to 1841. The seventh son of Thomas Dundas, 1st Baron Dundas, he served in the British Army in Holland and Egypt during the French Revolutionary Wars and in the Peninsular War, reaching the rank of lieutenant-general.
