Robert B. Campbell

Robert B. Campbell (1791-12 July 1862) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-SC 3) from 4 March 1823 to 3 March 1825 (interrupting Thomas R. Mitchell's terms) and from 27 February 1834 to 3 March 1837 (succeeding Thomas D. Singleton and preceding John Campbell. Born in Marlboro County, he served in Congress in South Carolina before moving to Lowndes County, Alabama in 1840 and serving in the state house in 1840, as consul in Havana from 1842 to 1850, and as consul in London from 1854 to 1861.
