Robert Aderholt

Robert Aderholt (22 July 1965-) was a member of the US House of Representatives from Alabama's 4th congressional district from 3 January 1997, succeeding Tom Bevill.

Biography[]

Robert Aderholt was born in Haleyville, Alabama on 22 July 1965, and he gained his juris doctor from Samford University. In 1992, he became the municipal judge of Haleyville, and he became a member of the conservative US Republican Party. In 1997, he was elected to the US House of Representatives to succeed US Democratic Party congressman Tom Bevill, and he became a leader of the Tea Party movement. Aderholt promised to never raise taxes in his district, and he was an ardent supporter of the gun lobby and a supporter of the pro-life movement in America.
