Richard “Ritchie” Doucet was the boss of the Dixie Mafia in New Orleans, Louisiana during the 1960s. Doucet ran a heroin operation from Algiers under the Marcano crime family's watch, and he helped them in eliminating the Black Mob under Sammy Robinson in 1968. However, Robinson's foster son Lincoln Clay eliminated his gang at Baron Saturday's Fun Park and hanged Doucet from the Ferris Wheel, sending a message to his gang and to Sal Marcano himself.
Biography[]
Ritchie Doucet was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to a family of French descent, and he lived in the Algiers district of the city. Doucet became the leader of the Dixie Mafia, an organized crime syndicate consisting of white southerners loyal to the Marcano crime family. In 1968, he assisted in the defeat of the Black Mob by stabbing Ellis Robinson to death, and the Marcanos proceeded to burn down Sammy Robinson's bar. The Dixie Mafia would take control of Algiers after the downfall of the Black Mob, and Doucet would run his own heroin operation. However, Giorgi Marcano went on the warpath, and the Marcanos went to war with the Dixie Mafia.

Ritchie Doucet and his gang retreated to Baron Saturday's Fun Park, where they hid their heroin and made a final stand against Giorgi Marcano. However, Sammy Robinson's foster son Lincoln Clay infiltrated the park and took down several members of the gang quietly, before he managed to shoot his way through the Bayou Beast ride and chase Doucet outside. Clay shot Doucet and grabbed him, taking him to the Ferris Wheel, where he told him that he was avenging the Robinsons. Doucet asked him if he could say a prayer before he died, but Clay tied a rope around his neck, tied it to a carriage, and told him to pray on his way up. Clay activated the ride, and Doucet was hanged from the carriage. His body would later be found by police alongside the bodies of the other gang members.
