The Rise Above Movement (RAM) is an alt-right, California-based street fighting group that was founded in 2017 by Robert Rundo as a loose collective of neo-Nazis, fascists, white nationalists, white supremacists, and far-right militants. The RAM's 20-50-strong membership was largely concentrated in Orange County and San Diego, and it shared membership with Identity Evropa, the Proud Boys, and the Hammerskins. The RAM's members trained in boxing and martial arts on weekends, adopted the "straight edge" lifestyle of abstaining from alcohol and drugs, and recruited members on social media through portraying themselves as the "premier MMA club of the Alt-Right." Several members of the group were involved in the violence at the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
