Richard McCarty (19 February 1780-18 May 1844) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-NY 8) from 3 December 1821 to 3 March 1823, succeeding Robert Clark and preceding James Strong. Born in Coeymans, he served as county clerk before serving in Congress.
