Richard Kidder Meade (29 July 1803-20 April 1862) was a member of the US House of Representatives (29 July 1803-20 April 1862) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-VA 2) from 5 August 1847 to 3 March 1853, succeeding George Dromgoole and preceding John Millson. Born in Frederick County, he practiced law in Petersburg and farmed near Lawrenceville before serving in the state senate from 1835 to 1838, in Congress, and as Minister to Brazil from 1857 to 1861.
