
Richard Fletcher (8 January 1788-21 June 1869) was a member of the US House of Representatives (W-MA 1) from 4 March 1837 to 3 March 1839, interrupting Abbott Lawrence's terms. Born in Cavendish, Vermont, he taught school in Salisbury, New Hampshire before moving to Boston and serving in Congress and as a state supreme court judge from 1848 to 1853.
