Richard Clough Anderson Jr. (4 August 1788-24 July 1826) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-KY 8) from 4 March 1817 to 3 March 1821, succeeding Stephen Ormsby and preceding Wingfield Bullock.

Biography[]

Richard Clough Anderson Jr. was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1788, and he practiced law in Louisville before serving in the state house from 1815 to 1816, in the US House of Representatives from 1817 to 1821, and in the state house from 1821 to 1822. He went on to serve as minister to Gran Colombia from 1823 until his death in 1826.
