The Rich District was a district of medieval Old City Jerusalem, covering the northern and eastern parts of the district. The district - the largest in the city - roughly corresponded to the city's Muslim Quarter, while it included small portions of the Christian Quarter in the west and the Jewish Quarter in the south. The district was mostly inhabited by Muslims, and it included a mosque, Saint Anne's Church, Temple Mount, and the markets that lined the border between the Muslim and Jewish neighborhoods.
