Rhoedd map Rhun (580-645) was King of Rheged from 616 to 638, succeeding Elffin ap Owain. The son of Rhun map Urien, he was the father of Aldfrith of Northumbria's mother in a dynastic union, and Northumbria came to absorb Rheged via a legal union in 638.
