Rhodente Orsini was an Italian condottiere from the House of Orsini.
Biography[]
Rhodente Orsini was born to the House of Orsini, and he became a condottiero. Orsini grew up with a hatred of the House of Colonna, but he worked with Battista Colonna to fight against the French Army in 1495, serving under Cesare Borgia. The condottieri played a major role in ambushing and massacring the Gascon Scouts at a village banquet, avenging the French army's plundering of Italy.
