Republican Sinn Fein was a democratic socialist political party in Ireland, founded in 1986 by Sinn Fein dissidents David O'Connell and Rory O'Brady. RSF's split from the main party was caused by Sinn Fein's decision to enter British politics rather than absent itself in protest, and RSF supported the Provisional Irish Republican Army and other Irish republican groups during "The Troubles". The RSF also stated that the Continuity Irish Republican Army was its armed wing, as well as the true army of Ireland.
