Repentance Rock is a rock formation located near Magdalena, Socorro County, New Mexico, situated around halfway between Benedict Point in the west and Fort Mercer in the east. Repentance Rock consisted of steep and rocky terrain which made it conducive for outlaws in search of a hideout amid the Wild West, and the Del Lobo Gang often used the rock as a gang hideout, resulting in several shootouts.
