Renjiro Shirakawa was a Japanese college athlete who played baseball for Kabukicho West High School during the 1990s. In 2012, he challenged Tatsuo Shinada to a home run contest at a Nagoya batting center to avenge Shinada's upstaging of him back in the 1990s, which had derailed Shirakawa's dreams of going pro.
