The Renault R35 was a light tank that was produced by France from 1936 to 1940. 1,685 Renault R35s were built to serve as light infantry tanks of the French Army, and the tank became the most numerous French tank of World War II. Poland, Romania, Turkey, and Yugoslavia also used the tank, and Israel, Switzerland, Syria, and Lebanon also used the tank.
