Rednecks

The Rednecks are a collection of loose criminal organizations in Blaine County, California, with most of them engaging in either the arms or meth trafficking industries. The Rednecks took their name from the pejorative term "redneck", referring to poor white people from the American South; many of Blaine County's residents were descended from the "Okies", Southern farmers (especially from Oklahoma) who left for rural California following the "Dust Bowl" of the 1920s. The Rednecks typically lived in trailer parks such as those in Sandy Shores and Grapeseed, and they were often believed to be inbred, uneducated, strongly religious conservatives, and alcoholics/drug addicts, which proved to be true for many of the gangsters. In 2013, Trevor Philips wiped out the O'Neil Brothers gang of rednecks, killing all fifteen inbred brothers. He also competed with other redneck factions to sell arms to the Mexican cartels, as did associates of his such as Slugs Piombino, who took part in shootouts with the rednecks.
