The Red Chapel of Hatshepsut was an Ancient Egyptian religious shrine located within the Karnak temple complex in Luxor, Egypt. The chapel was originally constructed as a barque shrine during the reign of Hatshepsut (1479-1458 BC), housing a sacred barque said to be used in a nightly journey of the sun deity. The chapel was placed within the Palace of Ma'at.
