The Reapers were a Maoist communist paramilitary group that existed in the Southeast Asian island nation of Panau from the 1930s to 2010s.

The Reapers were founded by Chinese immigrants during the 1930s; these migrant farmers worked the nation's agricultural flatlands and clamored for a communist revolution, especially after the rise of Mao Zedong and the CCP in the Chinese Civil War. During the Cold War, the Reapers received Chinese and Soviet assistance, and they were violently suppressed by the pro-Western dictator Papa Panay during the late 20th century. After Pandak Panay's seizure of power, the Reapers - led by Bolo Santosi - waged an all-out insurgency against the fascist government. The Reapers were covertly aided by CIA agent Rico Rodriguez, and they became a formidable opposition faction. However, the installation of a pro-American government in power after the end of the Panauan Civil War resulted in the Reapers disbanding and Santosi becoming a disc jockey in exile.
