The Razing of Earnningstone occurred in 873 AD when the Danish Vikings of Cambridge (Grantebru) attacked and torched the Anglo-Saxon village of Earnningstone in Cambridgeshire in retaliation for its support for Ealdorman Wigmund's Cambridge Revolt.

Following Jarlskona Soma's recapture of Cambridge in 873 AD, Soma sent out her lieutenants Galinn, Lif, and Birna to stamp out Wigmund's power across Cambridgeshire. She sent the Norwegian Viking warrior Eivor to accompany her lieutenants, one of whom she suspected had betrayed the city's defenses to Wigmund. Eivor joined Galinn, who told him that they would burn every building in the village in retaliation for its support for the rebellion. Eivor, Galinn, and their men stormed into the village, slaying the Anglo-Saxon troops protecting it and torching every house; Eivor himself threw torches onto several crates in the houses to start fires. After all of the buildings were set ablaze, the Viking raiders parted ways, with Eivor leaving the burned-down village on his longship.
