Armando "Rayo" Lopez (died 1989) was a hitman for the Sinaloa Cartel under Joaquin Guzman Loera. He was murdered by Tijuana Cartel leader Ramon Arellano Felix in 1989 after drunkenly showing up to Ismael Zambada Garcia's birthday party as Guzman's representative.

Armando Lopez was hired by Sinaloa Cartel leader Joaquin Guzman Loera, and he became a hitman. Rayo assisted Guzman in smuggling a shipment of Pablo Escobar's cocaine from Colombia to Los Angeles, California in 1985, and he became one of Guzman's most trusted men. In 1989, Guzman sent Lopez to represent him at the birthday party of Ismael Zambada Garcia in Tijuana, but Lopez got drunk while spending time with a beautiful female partygoer at the Hotel Real. Lopez made a scuffle when he insisted on entering the party as Guzman's representative, getting into a brawl with the bouncer. Ramon Arellano Felix heard the scuffle and investigated the incident, and he was insulted that Guzman had sent the drunken Lopez to represent him. Arellano asked Lopez to send a message to Guzman, and he proceeded to shoot him in the forehead with a pistol before shooting him several more times while he was on the pavement.
