Biography[]

Ramiro d'Orco was a condotierro, and gained a contract in the service of Captain-General Cesare Borgia of the Papal States during the Italian Wars. In 1500, he took part in the conquest of Romagna from the House of Sforza alongside fellow condotierri Vitellozzo Vitelli and Oliverotto da Fermo, and put the people of Forli and Imola under Borgia control. When the people rebelled, Cesare Borgia had d'Orco butchered and framed his other generals for the acts of tyranny.
