Ralph Warren (1486-11 July 1553) was Lord Mayor of London in 1536 and 1543.
Biography[]
Ralph Warren was a London mercer before becoming an alderman, Sheriff in 1528, and Lord Mayor in 1536 and 1543. He was knighted in the first year of his mayoralty by King Henry VIII. In 1545, he gave a sword to the City of London, and the "Pearl Sword" is now one of the city's five ceremonial swords. He died in 1553.
