Rafael Leopold was deputy chief of the Mossad during the 2020s. In 2023, he collaborated with Brussels police chief Angela Smet to hunt down Omar Tawalbe's Hezbollah cell in Molenbeek, as well as to prevent Adel Tawalbe's Palestinian Hezbollah cell from carrying out attacks in Israel.
