Quimmequin (died 1675) was a chief of the Wanasetock tribe of New England. Nicknamed "Swimmers" by the English due to his ability to swim in the pond and catch fish with his bare hands, Quimmequin was hostile to the colony of Bedford Park and directed a few attacks on the settlers. He was killed in 1675 at the start of the Wanasetock War when Ralph Bedford and his company of soldiers shot him dead near one of their recently-build trading posts.
