
Qaid Rasul (5 August 1965-16 September 1998) was an Armed Islamic Group (GIA) leader during the Algerian Civil War.
Biography[]
Qaid Rasul was born on 5 August 1965 in Ain Defla, Algeria to a family of Sunni Muslim Berbers. Rasul joined the Armed Islamic Group (GIA) during the Algerian Civil War to fight for the implementation of Islamism and sharia law in the country, but on 16 September 1998 he was killed in battle with the Algerian Army.
