The Pucara outpost raid occurred in 2019 when a team of American special forces operatives raided an outpost used by the Santa Blanca Cartel and destroyed several trucks carrying religious artifacts for Rodrigo Carlos Pérez Morales' mausoleum.
Major Anthony Perryman's Ghost Recon team was alerted by CIA agent Karen Bowman of an opportunity to offend cartel boss El Sueño and damage his reputation. The Americans decided to intercept a convoy carrying religious artifacts to El Sueño's Mausoleum, which was still under construction in the mountains of Pucara. The Americans launched an assault on the Pucara outpost and destroyed El Sueño's trucks with grenades while gunning down the cartel's sicarios and liberating their Kataris 26 prisoners. The destruction of the trucks halted construction on El Sueño's mausoleum and severely damaged the cartel's reputation.
