Publius Petillius Velus (232-274) was a Gallic legionary who served in Tetricus I's Gallic Imperial Guard during the Crisis of the Third Century. In 274 AD, he was slain in battle with Aurelian's Roman legions at the Battle of Chalons in Gaul.
