Ptolemaic Royal Palace

The Ptolemaic Royal Palace was the residence of the Ptolemaic pharaohs of Egypt from 323 BC to 30 BC, located in the Egyptian capital of Alexandria. It contained offices for members of the court in addition to the royal family, and the massive palace continued to be occupied under the Roman Empire. In 365 AD, the palace sank due to a tsunami caused by an earthquake off Crete.
