Princess Shola of the Abbasid Empire (born 18 December 770) was the daughter of Caliph al-Mansur, the sister of Caliph al-Mahdi, and the wife of Muhammad I of Berbera.
Biography[]
Shola was the youngest child of al-Mansur by one of his younger wives, and she lived in Baghdad, Abbasid Caliphate during her childhood. Shola was betrothed to marry King Muhammad I of Berbera on 2 December 774 after her older brother Caliph al-Mahdi approved of the marriage, and she would marry him in 786 upon coming of age.
