Prince-Bishop Odacre of Valais (732-) was the bishop of Valais under Upper Burgundy.
Biography[]
Odacre was born in 732 to a family of Catholic Franks, the House of Adalberts. While he was a layman, he married and had one daughter, Lantsuinda Adalberts. Odacre was forced to divorce his wife in order to become the prince-bishop of Valais under Duke Hugh of Upper Burgundy, but he retained custody of his daughter, whom he married to Ambrogio Galbaio of the Republic of Venice in 776.
