Prima Linea was a Marxist-Leninist armed organization in Italy that was active from 1976 to 1983, led by Sergio Segio, Susanna Ronconi, and Roberto Rosso. It was originally an extra-parliamentary political organization, but it soon replaced Lotta Continua as a militant group, and it became the second most-active leftist group behind the Red Brigades. During the Years of Lead, Prima Linea carried out 101 attacks and killed 16 people. In 1978, Prima Linea and the Communist Combat Formations to form the "Armed Proletarian Squads" alliance, and the SAP dissolved in 1981. Prima Linea followed suit in 1983.
