Priam Main (died October 1859) was an African-American slave from South Carolina who participated in John Brown's raid on Harpers Ferry in October 1859. He was whipped by the overseer Salem Jones for his defiant attitude, but Orry Main temporarily halted the attacks. Priam later escaped the plantation with the help of Madeline Fabray LaMotte Main and joined John Brown's abolitionist cadre, only to be killed at Harpers Ferry.
