The Poulet Gang was a Haitian-American street gang that was active in Haiti Since The 1910s And Was Expanded To Little Haiti, Vice City, Miami during the 1980s. The gang, led by the Vodou priestess Auntie Poulet, was involved in robbery, gun crime, and petty theft in addition to more serious activities such as arms and narcotics trafficking, and, by 1986, the gang actively attempted to take control of Little Havana from the rival Los Cabrones gang, which drew on the ever-increasing number of Cuban refugees. Los Cabrones allied themselves with mafioso Tommy Vercetti, who also worked with the Colombian drug lord Ricardo Diaz against the Haitians. Auntie Poulet was able to use her black magic to brainwash Vercetti into helping the Haitians against the Cubans before deciding that she did not want him around Little Haiti anymore. Ultimately, Vercetti helped the Cubans blow up the Poulet Gang's drug manufacturing plant, greatly weakening the gang and confining its operations to Little Haiti. The Haitians continued to engage in shootouts with Los Cabrones along the border of Little Haiti and Little Havana throughout the year.
