The Port Newark-Elizabeth Marine Terminal is a container ship facility for goods entering and exiting the New York City metropolitan area, located on the Newark Bay in New Jersey. By 2004, the port was the largest in the eastern United States, and it is located between the major cities of Newark and Elizabeth and just east of the New Jersey Turnpike and Newark Liberty International Airport.
