Popstar was a Sun On Yee-affiliated drug distributor and supplier from Hong Kong. He was arrested for the murder of Smuggler Hong in 2012.

Popstar was born in Hong Kong, and he was involved in the influx of drugs during the 21st century. Popstar became an associate of the Sun On Yee triad, and he supplied drug dealers such as Dirty Ming with ketamine and other drugs. When he executed Smuggler Hong at the docks for refusing to sell him drugs at a cheaper price, Popstar was busted by undercover HKPD agent Wei Shen, who took a picture of the incident on his phone. Popstar was arrested by police and imprisoned for murder and drug dealing, giving him a long sentence.
