Pope Anastasius III (870-1 July 913) was Pope from 911 to 913, succeeding Pope Sergius III and preceding Pope Lando.
Biography[]
Anastasius was the son of the Roman nobleman Lucian, and in 911 he was elected as pope with Count Theophylact I of Tusculum having power over him. Not much is known about his brief papacy.
