Pope Adrian III (816-8 July 885) was Pope from 884 to 885, succeeding Pope Marinus I and preceding Pope Stephen V.
Biography[]
Hadrianus was born in 816 AD in Rome, and in 884 he was consecrated as pope after the death of Pope Marinus I. He condemned the Christians of both the Muslim and Christian kingdoms of Spain for being too friendly with the Jews, but he died after a year and two months of being pope.
