Polemon the Wise (died 424 BC) was the Sage of the Cult of Kosmos and the head of its Silver Vein branch during the Peloponnesian War.

Biography[]

Polemon was born in Achaea, and he became a high-ranking leader of the Cult of Kosmos, becoming its Sage and the leader of its "Silver Vein" (financial) branch. He was the true architect of the war between the Delian League and the Peloponnese, with the Cult's reason for the war being simple: control through chaos. Polemon's was simpler: he wanted wealth and would stoke the fires of the war until every Greek son had died in battle.

In 424 BC, the Spartan mercenary and arch-nemesis of the Cult, Kassandra the Eagle Bearer, chanced upon Polemon's base at the Teichos of Herakles in the Erymanthos Peaks of Achaea. She stealthily killed most of his guards before slaying him and his lynx in the main building.
