The Pokrovsk offensive was a Russian military operation aimed at capturing the strategic city of Pokrovsk in western Donetsk Oblast in 2024 amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Following the Battle of Avdiivka, Russian forces significantly advanced north and northwest of the city, making further gains after the battle of Ocheretyne in July 2024. On 18 July, Russian forces entered Prohres, capturing the village on 19 July. The breakthrough allowed for quick advances along a previously stable frontline. Russian forces advanced towards Hrodivka and Novohrodivka in August, and, by 13 August, around 52 battles occurred each day on the Pokrovsk front. Ukraine's redirection of resources towards the Kursk Oblast front led to Ukrainian shortages in ammunition and continual Russian offensive efforts. In late August and early September, the Russians took Novogrodivka and Selydove, and the Russian Army launched offensive towards Pokrovsk and the Ukrainsk-Hirnyk-Selydove line in the south. On 17 September, the Russians took Ukrainsk, aiding their drive on Kurakhove. Selydove was encircled and captured by the end of October. However, Russia suffered tens of thousands of casualties during the advance on Pokrovsk from February to September 2024, and, by late August, the Ukrainian military estimated that it killed 300 Russian soldiers every day on the Pokrovsk front.
