Pio Salvador (1775-) was the First Lord of Portugal from 1811, succeeding Jaime Futre. He was replaced by Benedito de Paiva.
Biography[]
Pio Salvador was a patron of the Portuguese Navy, and was appointed to replace the ineffective Jaime Futre as First Lord. However, he was put in the wrong post, as he was a man who focused on the navy more; because Paulo Costa was a better Lord High Admiral than he was, he did not succeed him and was instead replaced as First Lord by Benedito de Paiva.
