Pietro Testa (1893-1953) was a Barzini crime family caporegime. Testa was murdered by Corleone crime family member Aldo Trapani.
Biography[]
Pietro Testa was born in Sicily, Italy in 1893, and he later immigrated to the United States. He settled in New York City, New York, where he became a member of the Barzini crime family of the American Mafia. Testa rose to become one of Emilio Barzini's top lieutenants, becoming a caporegime. In 1936, Testa and Valente Colli took part in the murder of Corleone crime family associate Johnny Trapani in Little Italy. In 1953, Johnny's son Aldo Trapani was sent to assassinate Testa as he met with the Little Italy Police Chief under an overpass. As Testa shook hands with the chief, Trapani shot him in the head, avenging his father's death.
