Philoctetes, son of Scamandius (died 1201 BC) was a Thessalian general who served under King Podarces during the 13th century BC. He assumed command of Podarces' army after the king was wounded in battle, only to be slain by the Phthian king Achilles at the Battle of Alos in 1201 BC.
