
Philip Beckinridge (1831-1868) was a brewery owner in Southwark, London.
Biography[]
Philip Beckinridge was the owner of a brewery in the Southwark borough of London, and he was known for the maltreatment of his employees in addition to the health problems that his "Beckinridge Brew" caused. He became an associate of the Blighters gang by 1868, and that year Jacob Frye and his Rooks gang attacked his hideout. Frye killed him with his cane-sword before escaping the scene.
