Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers, also commonly known as the Sixers, are an American professional basketball team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The 76ers were founded in 1946 as the Syracuse Nationals, and the Nationals won the 1955 NBA Finals. In 1963, the Nationals moved to Philadelphia and were renamed the "76ers", and many of the greatest NBA players played for the 76ers, including Wilt Chamberlain, Hal Greer, Billy Cunningham, Julius Erving, Moses Malone, Charles Barkley, and Allen Iverson. The team won the 1967 and 1983 NBA Finals as well, and they lost the 2001 NBA Finals to the Los Angeles Lakers.
