Petropavlovsk Gulag

The Petropavlovsk Gulag was a gulag used by the Soviet Union and the ultranationalist government of Russia, having formerly been a castle of the Russian Empire.

History[]

Petropavlovsk Gulag castle

The former castle

The gulag was formerly a castle of the Russian Empire, but the occupants died off during the harsh winters of the Russian Far East; the castle survived. Under the Soviet Union, it was converted into a gulag to store people who the government did not want but could not kill, and it was still used under Ultranationalist Russia. In 2016, it was assaulted by Task Force 141 during World War III to rescue the prisoner Prisoner 627, which later turned out to be John Price from the ultranationalists, with the US Navy and British and American special forces being sent in. The gulag was destroyed under heavy bombardment after Price was rescued.
