The Petro Poroshenko Bloc "Solidarity" is a liberal-conservative political party in Ukraine, founded on 27 August 2014 by businessman Petro Poroshenko. The party sought to give welfare and social protection for poor citizens, create a public television network, bring attention to the plight of the Crimean Tatars, reform law enforcement, end corruption, privatize coal mines, and ensure that Ukrainian remains the sole language of the nation. The party has many liberal views, such as those on welfare and civil rights, while it has conservative views on multiculturalism in Ukraine and the ownership of labor. The party became the ruling party of Ukraine following the 2014 presidential election, and many of its members were leaders of the Euromaidan revolution against Viktor Yanukovych's dictatorship. It also won the 2014 parliamentary elections, and, on 24 May 2019, after Poroshenko was ousted from the presidency, the party was rebranded as European Solidarity.
