
Peter McCall (31 August 1809 – 30 October 1880) was Mayor of Philadelphia (W) from 1844 to 1845, succeeding John Morin Scott and preceding John Swift.
Biography[]
Peter McCall was born in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey in 1809, and he graduated from Princeton University in 1826 and worked as a lawyer in Philadelphia from 1830 until his death in 1880. He served as Mayor from 1844 to 1845, and he served as a law professor at the University of Pennsylvania from 1852 to 1860. He died in 1880.
